As daughter to a restaurateur, Elisabeth (or Bettan as she´s often called) was born straight into to world of tastes surrounded by a big and food-loving family. After a short appearances in the advertising industry her love for food brought her back and besides being one of the country 's most prestigious pastry chefs she is also an honourable chef, baker, recipe writer, cookbook author and not to mention a fantastic and appreciated food stylist.
She has won gold and team silver in the confectionery category at the Culinary Olympic Games, worked with the dessert at three Nobel-banquets, run her own restaurant, published numerous cookbooks of which several have been awarded and for almost 10 years she´s been in the jury for Chef of the Year (Årets Kock) as well as Pastry Chef of the Year (Årets konditor).
In addition to the above, she has styled, cooked, written recipes and seduced with her pastries and dishes on countless photo shoots and commercials both in Sweden and abroad. Her experience from the restaurant business has given her nerves of steel and an incredible capacity for work. The photographers call her a "chemist" in the kitchen, as she always knows how to get the most perfect consistency or surface. Besides a perfect pitch in terms of taste, she also has a strong compass for what is timely and what the next food trend will be.
